Preparing for Communal Ceremony
In our Home
&
In the Wilderness
Contemplations prior to ceremony:
What is your draw to this experience?
What is your intention?
What do you hope to receive from ceremony?
Ceremony in Our Home
You will be stepping into a communal experience with the two of us, and up to three other guests.
On the day of:
Allow for at least 2.5-3 hours of digesting your last food before arriving.
Hydrate well prior to arrival.
Wear comfortable clothing.
If you’d like to bring an instrument, poetry, a painting, or other expression of you, please do so!
Items for the altar are welcome.
Transportation:
Most guests will be ready to drive following the close of ceremony.
If you aren’t good to drive, you will have the space to stay here in our home until you’re ready.
We also recommend considering having someone drop you off and pick you up.
Another option is to take a lyft/uber to/from ceremony.
Ceremony in the Wilderness
You will be stepping into a communal experience with the two of us, and up to two other guests.
On the day of:
Please respect the arrival time of 7:45am to our North Boulder home.
Eat breakfast as you normally would.
There will be time for an ending meal. You are responsible for providing your meal.
Bring a small pack for your personal items.
We have camping mugs, but you’re welcome to bring your own.
Pack a snack (such as bars, nuts) if you’d like.
Come in proper attire (like what you might wear for skiing or snow shoeing).
Transportation:
You are responsible for your arrival and departure from our home.
We will caravan in our all-wheel-drive Subaru; if it’s winter, we’ll be equipped with snow tires.
Expect to depart from our home by 6pm.
