Preparing for Shakti Pot
Contemplations prior to Shakti Pot:
When did you last unselfconsciously make sound? Singing, humming, toning, even a simple sigh.
Do you have a story you carry about being “too much”?
Where in your body do you sense the urge to hold back? What is the sensation like?
What would it mean for you to let yourself be witnessed in freedom, expression, and aliveness rather than composure, withdrawal, uncertainty?
What’s the difference between performing and transmitting?
What happens in you when you create space and listen to what’s alive in others?
Is there a quality of aliveness in you that’s quieter than your loudness? One that maybe doesn’t get as much attention?
What are you bringing into the pot? (Not what you hope to get — what you’re offering.)
What would make this ceremony feel complete for you?
